60th Birthday Bash!

Jennifer's wonderful husband Steve celebrated his 60th birthday this weekend and I was so happy to help create the perfect party. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend and see the fruits of our labor but I had such a great time getting to know him a little bit better. I had such a wonderful time with Jennifer it was just like an old times sleep over! We did some crafts, taped things on walls, drank diet Mt. Dew, chatted, and laughed. The decorations were wonderful tie-dyed and smiley face covered nick-nacks. They completed the trippy-ness of the party with a black light room which is where Jen and I spent most of our time the night before. She had colored velvet fuzzy posters and we created neon puff paint happy birthday signs! It was soo much fun! The only thing we didn't do was take pictures, usually that is our MO but we were trying to complete so much in one night that we didn't even think about it.

It was crazy to reminisce about the past and how silly we were (and still are) Jennifer is one of my oldest friends and I am so glad to have her! I love that we live closer now so we can have more time together. Even with the age difference she and Steve are so in love and he is such a wonderful man. I can't imagine her with anyone else and it makes me so happy to see the joy she has in her life with him.

They are a great couple and I am glad to have them both in my life! Can't wait to make another trip to Poky to see the pictures and hear how FAR OUT the party was!!

Birthday Birthday Birthday's!!

It seems like September is filled with Birthday's! Both my sisters, my boss, Jennifer's Husband Steve and Julie all with in the first 2 weeks! It has been a lot of fun helping celebrate the birth of all these great people. (well not Julie yet) I have helped in creating the best birthday bash for Jennifer's husband which was so much fun. They decided to do a 60's theme, which included pot leaf (in design only) brownies, a black light room, a band and costumes! I can't wait to see the pictures. I was unable to attend given that it was my little sisters 21st!!

It is so crazy to think that SAM is 21!! We had a blast going out to a few different bars and there was only one little mishap... but it worked out okay we got her re-hydrated so she could finish out the night.

Alix also turned 30 yesterday... SO two mile-stone birthdays her celebration was much more mellow. She got the cutest gift ever and we had a good time watching movies and just catching up given that every ones lives have gotten so hectic. I LOVE BIRTHDAYS!!

I will post more on each later....
