Love IT!

A great day

It was so much fun hanging out with Jen and getting some pictures, we haven't done this in years just taking pics and having so much fun. I really like this one of the two of us, we both look really good. Damn Jen looks great with RED lips! Very few people can pull this look off and she does it flawlessly. I am hoping that I will be up for a trip to Pocatello tomorrow to do some Christmas Crafting.
Those are two things that Jen and I love to do together, crafts and taking pictures! So hopefully I can make it happen.

Halloween

For Halloween I went to Jen and Steve's it was so much fun, in this pick I was a Lumber Jack Ferry and she was a Sexy Ladybug. No matter what Jennifer does she looks sexy and this day was no different. I had such a great time with them it was a blast shopping and going to that yummy resturant that we have become so fond of. I am just now getting the time to update on Halloween, a lot has happend but sharing the day with Jen and Steve was wonderful I am glad we had a chance.

Low Key Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving was great, didn't really do much just went to Alix's for dinner/lunch and the food was amazing. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling very well once I was done eating, not just full but really yucky. I ended up loosing the delish food that I had eaten then I had a really long nap. The nap was good the part before that not so much.
It was a lot of fun to go to Alix's and enjoy time with my family though we watched 4 Christmases (spelling?) and it was pretty cute I do love that Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon was good to. Again it was really low key just hanging out chatting about what everyone had been up to then dinner then I went home around 4.
All in all it was a really great day I enjoyed it!! I have so much to be thankful for and I am glad that I am where I am to enjoy my wonderful family and friends.

Having Short Hair Again

So there are a lot of things I love about short hair but several that I don't.
I am sad that a pony tail day will not be anywhere in my near future and hat days aren't as cute.
I love wearing hats and have quite a bit lately it is kind of my signature look, if I am not wanting to get ready I just throw on my hat and some mascara.
Well I look like a boy if I do that now! My hair is really that short! Don't get me wrong it is super cute but hats are kind of out for the season and that is sad.
I can still rock all my cute headbands though which is nice because I have quite a few and I haven't broken them out for a while.

OMG!! I am tired

I was up way too late last night, I was talking to a friend on the phone who is very long winded and didn't get to sleep until the early am. But here is the thing I just wake up between 5:00 and 6:00 am never fail.
So getting to sleep past like 11 or 12 was a big deal. I am dragging ass today. But THANKFULLY there is only one more full work day in this week. I am so excited it is almost ridiculous!
I am looking forward to a lazy long weekend with family and friends. Hopefully this day will go by quickly and I will be super productive.
I need to have a few sales close this week so that I won't feel like such a loser since Lindsey is pretty much mopping the floor with me sales wise!

Thanksgiving Week

I am so happy that there are only 3 working days this week. Don't get me wrong I love my job but I am ready for a long weekend. I don't really have any plans besides eating mass amounts of stuffing and cranberry sauce but that sounds completely heavenly.
I think that I will go to pocatello for a day to spend some time with Jen and Steve, they have some crafts that need to be crafted. I love spending time with them it has been so great that we have been able to see each other so much the past few months.
So I am going to make a list of things that I am thankful for.

1. My family and friends. It has been so wonderful to spend oodles of time with them both
2. My new home. Thank you to the best landlord ever
3. My job, in this economy you have to be glad to have a job at all but to have one that you LOVE is such a blessing.
   
4. I know I already mentioned my family and friends but I think I need to be more specific.. Alix and Sam are the best sisters that anyone could ask for, always there when you need them even when they drive me crazy I am so thankful to have them. My Beautiful Mother, I love her so much and am thankful that she is mine. Jennifer and Steve, they have been such a great force in my life and am so glad that I have had the opportunity to spend so much time with them. Michelle, Brian and the kiddos, these are 4 of my most fav! I love them so much it is such a blessing to be a part of their lives. My little April and Cate!! Although things have been rough for the past few months April is such a strong and beautiful woman I don't know what I would do without her. Kira, Rog and London, I love the time I have had with them who would have thought that so many years later Kira and I would be so close. I can't believe how much London has grown it is so wonderful to have them back in Idaho Falls and in my world. My dad and Brothers, they are such strong men that I don't know what I would do without, although time with them has been few and far between I love them so much. I couldn't ask for better men in my life.
   I am so thankful for the great people in my life I couldn't be happier which is GREAT!
   

I better get back to work since I rambled on but I can't wait for the long weekend to spend time with the ones I love!

SHORT HAIR!

So I can't seem to make up my mind, about a month ago I had long lucsious mermaid hair that was almost to my butt, tonight I cut my hair really really short! I need to go blonder so I won't post pictures until then but it is really cute. I don't know why I have to be so extreme but its who I am. I was feeling better today so I went to my moms and had my little sister cut it.
I LOVE IT. I was trying to go for a little bit longer Tabitha Coffey I don't know that I will go platinum like she is but I will go much blonder than I am currently.

I hate going to the Doctor

The last time I was sick enough to need medical attention I went to a PA who was sure that I was pregnant because I had a sore throat. She did a flu test because I had lost my voice this was the dumbest thing I had ever spent $50 hard earned dollars on.

It has been difficult weighing out the options of just sticking it out in hopes that the mystery illness I have had since last Thursday will just dissipate or biting the bullet and going in. It wouldn't shock me if something had ruptured and I am slowly bleeding to death internally or my brain juice is oozing from my nose.

I have been battling being the largest producer of snot in the western hemisphere, an ear ache, sore throat (sure fire sign that I am knocked up) a SERIOUS tummy ache, and have been getting these terrible dizzy spells where I loose almost all peripheral vision....

I am sure that it is just some virus that I will be told to go home and rest but DAMN GINA I just want some drugs!!

YUCKY!!

That is the only word to describe how I have felt the last week or so YUCKY!! I have been extremely stuffed and can feel it moving to my chest. GREAT!! Thankfully I am going to go to the doctor tonight after work, given that everyone I know is SICK!!
I am so glad that it is almost the weekend I desperately need the time off to relax! I can't wait to just hang out in my living room with the fire going, hot tea, a few good movies, and my dogie... Hopefully a sister or two but I don't want to risk getting them sick this seems to be the never ending cycle of crud going around.

Better get back to the grind so that I can get everything done this afternoon!

I am having some dog mother anxiety

Today is the first day that I have left my dog alone at my new house. I have been taking her to my mom's house to hang out with the other dogs while I was at work but this morning I woke up later than I expected so she had to stay home.
I don't know why but it is causing me to be seriously anxious today. Which is stupid she has been left alone before but not for a while and I feel like a bad dog mother. Even though I spent the bulk of the morning making her little space all cozy. She has a little bed with several blankets neatly arranged so she can tunnel under them to stay warm. I turned the heat up a little I don't even do that for myself but my Lily is my baby so I worry.

What a wonderful afternoon!!

I had so much fun today, I was able to come to SLC with Jen (she worked almost the whole ride down gotta get shiz done) we stopped at Teleserve in hopes of talking to Jacob but he ended up on a phone call, but it was great to catch up with Julie. The J meeting will happen tomorrow :)
We had some GREAT sushi at Ginza did some shopping, and then IMOGEN HEAP!
The opening band was awful, thankfully we didn't show up until 8:00-ish so we only saw the tail end of his wild screeching. It was such a great show when Imogen came on though. AMAZING we went and stood near the back but it was still awesome.
Such a different experience from the first time I saw her years ago. I loved it and am so glad I came but I think I will start to try and find shows that are in different locations. My life has taken such a different turn that I would rather experience new cities to enjoy the bands I love, and I just want to visit new and exciting places.
Salt Lake is old hat and frankly makes me sad too many sad memories and sucky things. Although I do have some great friendships that I continue from afar SLC just makes me sad..... No way to really explain it just has a dark cloud. I am okay with that Idaho Falls has been great and I am really starting to actually plant some roots for awhile not just floating in hopes of being caught yet still afraid of being dragged down by the current of memories and places from the past.

Long Week

It is only Wednesday and already this week has been incredibly long. I have had to be at work early and late which is fine I am just tired.
I know it hasn't been very long but I am ready to have this hair out. Don't get me wrong I LOVE it I am just tired of it. I can't stand not being able to wash my hair everyday and with the extensions I am only supposed to wash it once a week.
That is yucky and I haven't done it! I have washed it a lot more than that, and that could attribute to the fact that I have had A LOT of pieces fall out. Which is fine if it didn't take some of my actual hair with it. OH well... Enough about my hair

I am going to see IMOGEN HEAP on Thursday! It will be so much fun I can't even wait! Who cares if my head itches and I want to pull my hair out? NOT ME!! haha!!

I have a lot of pics and updating to do this weekend but I am sure that won't happen until the usual blog day (Sunday)

TOO Many New things!

I really need to take some time to update on all the fantastic things that have happened in the last few weeks but... I don't have time right now so bullet point list here I come! HAHA~

• I moved into my own place
• Spent oodles of time with my nearest and dearest
• I MOVED!!
• Going to the Imogen Heap Concert (awesomeness ensues)
  
• My job just keeps getting better and better!
  

I am sure there is much more but I just can't get over number 1 and 3.... I will have to keep going later on today or sometime this week
